Composition
Metropolitan Corporation Local
Governments Punjab
A Metropolitan Corporation shall consist of
the Chairmen of all Union Councils of District,
and shall include the members indirectly elected on the reserved seats
by the Chairmen Union Councils
present and voting.

Corporation
(a) twenty five women members
(b) five worker members
(c) three technocrat members
(d) two youth members
(e) ten non-Muslim members.
Mayor Metropolitan Corporation Election
The members of Metropolitan Corporation shall, in the first session of the
Metropolitan Corporation, elect, as joint candidates, from amongst the
members of the Metropolitan Corporation, the Mayor and the Deputy
Mayor or Deputy Mayors mentioned in the First Schedule, by majority of
the members present and voting. |
